This book is for owner managers and their finance people.

Cash flow is the life blood of any company. You can make a loss, lose your best salesperson or your largest client and whilst these will probably damage the company, maybe badly, it can recover. Run out of cash and it’s all over.

Ensuring there is sufficient cash for the company to stay in business is basic stuff. What about ensuring that the company is generating sufficient cash to pay great bonuses or dividends or to fund growth?

Keeping on top of cash flow is impossible without managing the company’s working capital, including stock, work in progress, debtors (accounts receivable) and creditors (accounts payable).

This book is grounded in practical examples and issues that come up in real companies. There are lots of financial theory books and books covering accountancy and finance, this isn’t one of those.
